By day 10 most of the
vigorous brewing has ceased. The sea monkeys have run out of food. The beer
will become clearer and clearer as the yeast start to die or become dormant.

Note the lack of froth and
the loss of the soupy appearance.
Understand that there is no
real time schedule for making beer. The yeast isn’t on your schedule, the yeast
is on the yeast’s schedule, and it will done when it is done. Patience is your ally
when making beer. This beer was like this at 10 days, yours may take longer.
I usually like to wait
until the beer becomes clear, and then I wait a minimum of three days before
bottling.
Note that the yeast has
settled to the bottom in a large “pancake”.

Take pains not to stir this
pancake up by moving the beer. We want this to settle out fully before
bottling.
