There have been many requests over the past few years for a definitive guide, as well as a great deal of speculation and consternation, as to what should go into a well thought out BOB.

It is with this in mind that we at Black-Rifles.com have endeavored to define what is and isn’t needed under most circumstances, what defines a prudent choice in bags, contents, weapons, and gear, as well as why having this type of equipment is a good idea.

We have broken this Oracle into two main parts, Bugging Out, and as a supplement to the BOB Oracle, what to do for Bugging In, also known as hunkering down.
